William T. Dwyer, Jr.  (BA, University of Notre Dame, 1969: JD, University of Illinois, 1972), adjunct assistant professor, instructs students competing in the American Mock Trial Association annual mock trial competitions.  Mr. Dwyer teaches POLS 37910 and 37911 designed to make the students in the mock trial program proficient in  applying the Federal Rules of Evidence, Rules of Criminal and Civil Procedure and in trial advocacy.  He is of counsel to the Chicago law firm of O’Rourke, Hogan, Fowler & Dwyer and has 38 years experience trying criminal and civil cases in state and federal courts.
