Christina Wolbrecht

Christina Wolbrecht

(B.A., Pacific Lutheran University, 1992; M.A., Ph.D., Washington University in St. Louis, 1997) Packey J. Dee Associate Professor, specializes in American politics, political parties, interest groups, mass behavior, and gender politics. Her book, The Politics of Women's Rights: Parties, Positions, and Change ( Princeton ), received the 2001 Leon D. Epstein Outstanding Book Award from the Political Organizations and Parties Section of the American Political Science Association. She is currently engaged in a collaborative project using ecological inference techniques to examine women's voting behavior and its impact on the American political system in the period immediately following the granting of women's suffrage in 1920.
