John D. Griffin
(B.A., Boston College; J.D., University of Colorado School of Law; Ph.D., Duke University), Assistant Professor, specializes in the study of political equality within American political institutions, particularly the U.S. Congress. He is the co-author of Minority Report: Evaluating Political Equality in America (University of Chicago Press). His work also has appeared in the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, Legislative Studies Quarterly, and several edited volumes. With John Aldrich, he is currently writing a book on political parties and the emergence of democracy in the American South.
