Internships give undergraduates the opportunity to bring theoretical knowledge to life as they integrate coursework with experiential learning.
Political Science majors gain real-life experience when they complete an academic year or summer internship. With the support of the Director of Internships, undergraduate students lend their skills to a variety of organizations from local immigration attorneys to world-recognized non-profits such as UNICEF. Internships give undergraduates the opportunity to bring theoretical knowledge to life as they integrate coursework with experiential learning.
Students have a great degree of flexibility in selecting an internship. Internships may be completed:
- During the academic year or during the summer holiday
- At government, government-related, or non-profit agencies
- In the Notre Dame area, throughout the United States, or abroad.
