I am a PhD candidate in the Political Science Department at the University of Notre Dame. My dissertation studies the policy impact of judicial decisions on socioeconomic rights in Latin America. My research interests include courts in new democracies, comparative judicial politics, Latin American politics and, in particular, the impact of courts in public policy and public opinion. I am also interested in mixed methods approaches to comparative politics and in conceptualization and measurement.
