Sebastian Rosato
Assistant Professor of Political Science

Sebastian Rosato is the author of Europe United: Power Politics and the Making of the European Community (Ithaca: Cornell University Press, 2011). He has been a fellow at the Nanovic Institute for European Studies and the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame, and the John M. Olin Institute for Strategic Studies and the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University. He received a B.A. in History from Cambridge University, an M.Phil. in International Relations from Oxford University, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago.

Marina Calloni
Professor of Social and Political Philosophy

Marina Calloni is currently at the Nanovic Institute for European Studies at the University of Notre Dame as an Italian Fulbright Scholar, teaching political theory in the Department of Political Science. She received her M.A. in Philosophy at the University of Milan, receiving a Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Pavia, and a Ph.D. in Social and Political Science at the European University Institute in Florence. Calloni has been a research fellow at the University of Frankfurt and senior researcher at the Gender Institute of the London School of Economics and Political Science. Calloni is the former deputy representative for Italy at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. She also served as an expert for the European Commission and the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe. Calloni has widely published books and papers in several languages and countries and has taught at universities on four continents.
