Deadline to Apply for Student Conference on United States Affairs

Location: 217 O'Shaughnessy

Each year the United States Military Academy invites the Department of Political Science to send one student as a delegate to the annual Student Conference on United States Affairs (SCUSA).  The SCUSA 64 conference will be held in West Point, New York from November 7 – 10, 2012.

This year's theme is “Leading in Lean Times: Assuring Accountability and Assessing American Priorities in an Age of Austerity”.

"…SCUSA is the largest, oldest and most prestigious conference of its type in the world. …Many delegates use their passion and experiences honed at SCUSA to pursue a career in public service. SCUSA is more than a four day conference, however; it is a year-long leader development experience-the West Point Leader Development System in action!”
