The Political Theory Program at Notre Dame presents the 2018 Niemeyer Lectures in Political Philosophy. Michael Sandel, Anne T. and Robert M. Bass Professor of Government Harvard University, will present "Why the Populists have a Point: the Tyranny of Merit and the Future of Democracy".

Thursday, October 25 at 4:30 pm and Friday, October 26 at 4:30 pm

Both events will take place in the McKenna Hall Auditorium. A reception will take place after both lectures.

The Niemeyer Lectures honor the contributions and memory of the late Gerhart Niemeyer (1907-1997), professor of political philosophy at the University of Notre Dame from 1955 to 1997.
