-

Location: Virtual

This student-led conversation will bring together experts on campus free expression and political discourse with student leaders from several universities who are affiliated with BridgeUSA. BridgeUSA is a national organization focused on improving the state of political education and discussion. It originated at Notre Dame in 2017, and now has 13 chapters at universities across the nation. The event will discuss trends in politics on college campuses—including levels of polarization, self-censorship, and ideological diversity—and ways to improve the state of discourse.

Bridging the Divide sponsored by the Office of the Provost, in partnership with the Klau Center for Civil and Human Rights, and the Rooney Center for the Study of American Democracy.
