Join the Notre Dame Democracy Initiative for the final Democracy Talk of 2025—a daylong symposium showcasing the impact of the Notre Dame Democracy Initiative’s Catalyst Grants. The event will feature presentations on more than 40 funded projects that explore critical questions about democracy through research, public engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Panel sessions will highlight work from Notre Dame faculty, graduate students, and fellows, with opportunities for dialogue across disciplines and initiatives.

The symposium will culminate with a reception and keynote remarks by Ron Daniels, President of Johns Hopkins University and author of What Universities Owe Democracy.
