"After putting out a nationwide call for leaders with expertise in civics, the National Assessment Governing Board has assembled three groups, charged with supporting updates to the NAEP Civics Framework. Frameworks describe the knowledge and skills assessed by the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).
The NAEP Civics Framework Development Panel is charged with centering civics content knowledge, drawing from primary and authentic sources, and representing the application of civics knowledge in a nonpartisan manner. They work to reach consensus and provide a draft framework for the Governing Board’s consideration. Meet the panelists."
