The Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies acknowledges the rise of anti-Asian (especially anti-Chinese) harassment and discrimination that many Asians and Asian Americans are experiencing. Xenophobia has no place in our communities, and we stand firm in rejecting anti-Asian sentiments, comments, and actions. Fear of COVID-19 is not an excuse or an opportunity for the expression of bigotry. Resources about reporting discriminatory incidents on campus are available through the Office of Institutional Equity.
