The Review of Politics is pleased to introduce Abby Staysa as one of our 2020-21 editorial interns.

Abby Staysa Headshot

Abby is a 2022 Ph.D. Candidate in Political Theory and Constitutional Studies at the University of Notre Dame. Her research interests include Ancient Political Philosophy, the History of Political Thought, and Constitutional Law.

She received a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy, Summa Cum Laude, from Hiram College (2015), as well as a M.A. in Political Science (2018) and a Certificate of Classics (2019) from the University of Notre Dame. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Abby’s dissertation examines the relationship of practical wisdom and pleasure in the education of Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics. Her research and teaching interests derive from a continuous study of the great minds, ancient and modern, whose relevance persist and who teach us about the world.
