Yanzhong (Charles) Huang

Biography

Yanzhong (Charles) Huang is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame with a focus on American politics and methodology. His substantive research interests are on political behavior, political psychology and minority politics. He studies how changing political landscape in the U.S. affect the ideology and political behavior of immigrants, with a focus on Asian American immigrants. He employs a range of methods in his research, including survey, latent variable modeling, and other causal inference methods.

Before coming to Notre Dame, Yanzhong obtained an M.A. in Political Science from Duke University, a B.A. in Finance from Renmin University of China, and a licence from KEDGE Business School in Marseille, France.
