Kjersti Hansen

Biography

Kjersti is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. Her primary research explores the intersections of foreign direct investment, party systems, and polarization. In addition to her main research agenda, she examines issues in international security, particularly the nuclear taboo and its impact on global stability. 

She holds an M.S. in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Notre Dame, an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame, and an M.A. in Political Science from Villanova University. She also holds a B.A. from Boston College.
