Linus has a BA (double major: Philosophy; East Asian Languages and Civilizations) and an MA (Social Sciences) from the University of Chicago. His research relates to the relationship between social, economic, political, scientific, and technological conditions and political ideology and political ideation in general. His work has been published in The Psychoanalytic Review (2017), The International Journal of Asian Studies (2020), Critical Historical Studies (2020), Science & Society (2021), Telos (2021), Perspectives on Political Science (2021), Tokyo Metropolitan University Journal of Law and Politics (2021), The Political Science Reviewer (2022), and History of Political Thought (2022, forthcoming). He has previously studied in Japan and China.
