Beyond Politics

Beyond Politics is a student-run, peer-reviewed undergraduate journal sponsored by the department. With editors from a wide range of majors and interests, the journal biannually publishes exceptional and original student research in major political science specializations such as American politics, international relations, comparative politics, and political theory. The journal also addresses interdisciplinary issues such as public policy, economics, history, or psychology — all through the political lens.

Political Science Society

The Political Science Society aims to foster social engagement and political awareness for all majors. Whether facilitating networking opportunities within the field or raising the profile of the political science program across campus, the organization works to build an inclusive political science community at Notre Dame. The association is dedicated to encouraging civic engagement among students by offering a supportive space to educate them about opportunities, current events, and political issues.

Students interested in becoming a member of the Political Science Society should apply online.

Pi Sigma Alpha

Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, is the only honor society for college students of political and social sciences in the United States.

Its purpose is to recognize and promote high academic achievement in the field of political science. It is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) and adheres to all the standards set by ACHS for an upper-division, specialized honor society. Pi Sigma Alpha is not a social fraternity or club.
