McKenzie Bennett
Biography
McKenzie Bennett is a PhD candidate on the job market. Her dissertation investigates how normative expectations prompt color-conscious and color-blind mobilization among racially privileged individuals. She uses a mixed-method design (i.e., survey experiment, observational data, and interviews) to analyze this puzzle. Her broader research agenda examines the conditions that foster color-consciousness and color-blindness on a more comparative scale.
