Gabrielle Grow is a first-year Ph.D. student in constitutional studies and American politics and a Notebaert Premier Fellow at the University of Notre Dame. Her primary research interests involve making sense of changes in social capital and community engagement across the US, and exploring possible remedies for community decline in this context. She aims to approach this project through both empirical work and the study of American political thought with regard to religion and civil society.

Before coming to Notre Dame, Gabrielle worked at the University of Chicago for economist Dr. Steve Levitt, where she completed research projects related to agriculture, K-12 education, and law enforcement, among other issues. She received her BA (with honors) in Public Policy from Stanford University.
