John Luke Hoonhout is a first year Ph.D. student in Constitutional Studies and Political Theory at the University of Notre Dame. His interests include the history of political thought, especially classical, early modern, and American political thought; American constitutional law; and theories of natural law and natural rights. Previously, he worked in higher education nonprofits in New York. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Dallas with a degree in Politics and a concentration in Ethics.
