Here is our very final Graduating Senior Spotlight for the school year! This one is from Caitlin Glimco:
1. What opportunity are you pursuing after graduation?
-"Next year I will be pursuing my Master's Degree in Political Science at the University of Chicago on a full tuition scholarship."
2. How has your PoliSci degree prepared you for the job after graduation?
-"The connection to the political science degree is pretty straightforward for me. I will be building on the research skills that I developed here in my undergraduate studies to pursue graduate level political theory. My research focuses are Italian political thought and feminist theory."
3. Where do you plan on going in the future?
-"I hope to eventually earn a PhD in political theory in order to work as a professor at a university. However, I may take a year or two to use my Master's degree in a related job field along the way."
4. What advice would you give to someone considering a Poli Sci major?
-"Political Science is a fascinating field with great resources, especially professors, here at Notre Dame. Take classes you are interested in and choose topics that you are passionate about. The opportunities that follow from a genuine interest are incredible and very personally fulfilling!"
