1. What opportunity are you pursuing after graduation?

-"I'm going to be a Business Analyst with Target.com in Minneapolis, MN."

2. How has your PoliSci degree prepared you for the job after graduation?
-"The Political Science major has taught me to be inquisitive - to ask why institutions and programs are designed the way they are. I see Poli Sci as both a creative and analytical discipline. We learn to be critical of the status quo, but also entrepreneurial in terms of how we think about the future."

3. Where do you plan on going in the future?
-"I'm honestly not sure what my future career path looks like. If my time at Notre Dame has taught me anything, it's that my plans never work out the way I expect them to. The best experiences I've had here were not the ones I actively planned for."

4. What advice would you give to someone considering a Poli Sci major?
-"As a freshman, I was given a great piece of advice about choosing a major: Take the Notre Dame Bulletin (with the lists of classes by department) and use a highlighter on the course titles that sound interesting to you. By the end, see which major has the most highlighting on it. That's what led me to Poli Sci, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I was drawn to the wide range of courses the department offered. I found that Poli Sci classes encompassed other subjects I was also interested in."
