The Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies recently approved nine Justice and Asia grants to faculty and students to carry out projects in support of the institute’s organizing theme of examining justice in relationship to Asia from a range of perspectives, including social, political, economic, cultural, historical, and linguistic.
“It is gratifying to see our Justice and Asia theme expanding,” said Liu Institute Director Michel Hockx. “We approved more projects this year than ever before, and it’s exciting to add new projects while continuing to support the growth of existing collaborations.”
