Launch of Just and Unjust Peace: An Ethic of Political Reconciliation

On October 11th, the Kroc Institute will be sponsoring a launch of Dan Philpott's recently published book, Just and Unjust Peace: An Ethic of Political Reconciliation. 

The book addresses the question of what justice means in the wake of the massive injustices of war, genocide and dictatorship.

There will be a public panel discussion on Thursday, October 11th, at 4:00 pm, at the Hesburgh Center for International Studies.  Commenting on the book will be Yale theologian Miroslav Volf, Duke theologian Emmanuel Katongole, and professor of literature and religious studies at Northwestern University Regina Schwartz.
