Tim Roemer served as a member of the United States House of Representatives for Indiana's third district from 1999 to 2003. He went on to serve as Ambassador to India under President Obama from 2009 to 2011. Ambassador Roemer is a proud Notre Dame alumnus, graduating in 1985 with a Ph.D. in Government & International Studies.
