A public address by US Supreme Court Associate Justice Samuel Alito, Jr. on "The Emergency Docket." Presented by the Constitutionalism and Rule of Law Lab at the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, with cosponsorship by the Notre Dame Law School.

The live address will be in the McCartan Courtroom at the Law School, and overflow rooms with a closed-circuit live stream will be available at both the Law School and Hesburgh Center. All seats require a ticket.

Registration does not confirm that you have a reserved seat. You will be sent a follow-up notification from kievents@nd.edu, indicating whether you will be attending as an in-person guest or an overflow guest (watching the live public address via a closed-circuit video feed in a designated location).

GUIDELINES FOR ATTENDANCE:

  • A valid state identification, passport, or University of Notre Dame ID card will be required for all entries (in-person and overflow).
  • Backpacks and binders will not be allowed into the in-person public address in the McCartan Courtroom.
  • No photos, video, or audio recording will be allowed.
  • A University photographer will be present to photograph the event; your participation in this event grants the University of Notre Dame permission to photograph you.
  • All cell phones must be powered off during the event.
  • Masks are required indoors for all visitors. Only vaccinated Notre Dame faculty, staff, and students are permitted to remove their mask indoors.
